Shepherd’s Spring Farm
We live on a small farm near North Gower with our Extended family. The Family has been here since the 1970’s and we have the 4th generation coming along now.
We bake fresh bread, cookies, sweet tarts, and savoury meat pies, Nanas Chicken Pie and Tourtiere. At the market we will have turkey sausage made from turkeys raised her on the farm. At the Christmas market we will have hand made felt items made by Ann. I make my felt items from loose wool fibers making the felt and the item at the same time. I will have hats, baskets, and small items for sale.

Burbidge Apiaries
Burbidge Apiaries is run by Wes and Sabrina, local beekeepers, with bee yards in Stittsville, Kanata, Dwyer Hill and Barrhaven. With 100 hives, Burbidge Apiaries produces raw, unpasteurized honey in a variety of flavours, beeswax products, honey comb, and sells honey bees to new and existing beekeepers.

Chocosis Desserts
Chocosis Desserts is a small business run by Harshita and Shailesh. We bake soft cookies and fudgy brownies in a variety of flavors.
All items are made from fine Belgian Chocolate and other high-quality ingredients. We take pride in making cookies and brownies which are of perfect sweetness (not too sweet!). Hi there! My name is Priya and I have an obsession for all things food related – it’s wonderfully abnormal and I love it! I make and sell home made butter chicken. Not only is the texture perfectly creamy, but the color is stunning and it is full of flavor. My Little Bakery
“My little bakery” is Balkan style bakery where the cooking and baking hobby I turned into a small operation. My products are organic and\or locally sourced. All goods are freshly prepared in small batches with love and passion. My staple products are aromatic focaccias made with extra virgin olive oil, local garlic, fresh herbs, as well as irresistible flat bread Balkan style excellent for sandwiches, hamburgers, for BBQs, or toasted with honey or jam.
The bakery has big demand for sweet product staple: poppy seed strudel or walnut strudels (aka cake rolls).
During the Christmas market I will offer my second passion: organic, natural, handmade soaps.Pre-packed in attractive packages they will be excellent stockings and Christmas gifts

Stone Trail Jewelry
Stone Trail Jewelry creates of one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces using a large original art piece using alcohol ink in my Barrhaven studio. Using an impressionist-approach, vibrant colours are swirled together until something interesting emerges. Each piece is unique as the inks take on a life of their own. This larger art work is then used to create smaller, wearable works of art which take the form of earrings, pendants, etc. I have also found other ways to display my designs for those who may not wear jewelry, such as coasters, key chains or trinket dishes.
If beaded jewelry is more your style, I also create earrings, bracelets and wire rings to showcase beautiful beads or semi-precious stones.

The Pepper Moustache
Flavour first, then heat. Hot for hot sake never did it for us. We wanted more out of a hot sauce. So in 2005 when I started making hot sauces for friends and family it was flavour foreplay first! It all starts with fresh picked ingredients from our gardens. All of our Hot Sauces, Spicy Maple Syrups, Rubs and Spicy Salt are passionately crafted in small batches. Each with a distinct flavour profile created to enhance everyday meals – not mask them. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Wash Up Soaps!
Wash UP Handcrafted Soap
Once upon a time, there were two friends and neighbours who wanted to be clean and fresh without the use of harsh chemicals. One friend taught the other everything she knew about making soap. Eventually, the two friends had more soap than they knew what to do with, so they decided to share their fragrant creations with the world. They started a soap making business called Wash Up.
Today, the two friends still make soap using natural and premium ingredients. They enjoy creating products that are good for your body and good for your planet.
This holiday season, Wash Up soap will be at the Barrhaven Winter Market on November 19th and 26th. They will have all their usual lovely products as well as a Holiday package featuring 4 different winter scents all wrapped up and ready to go. This will make a perfect gift for someone who appreciates feeling and smelling good while doing good for the environment.

The Great British Pasty & Pie Co. is a small company focused on producing handcrafted traditional British pasties using fresh local ingredients. Our pasties are handcrafted in small batches with fresh local ingredients and fine fresh herbs and seasonings and without any artificial flavours or preservatives. By small batches, we mean that we bake 24 pasties at a time; this ensures freshness and allows for more vigorous quality control. This is a longer more laborious process, but it insures a higher quality better tasting and uniform product. Using small batch recipes and techniques every pasty is cared for from start to customer. Our Pasties are sold frozen for customer convenience allowing customers to enjoy good value wholesome meals with minimal preparation.

Nat’s Bread Company LOVES the holidays! We create many seasonal specials centered around the December holiday season. Here’s a list to get your taste buds going…
· Rum Raisin Stollen – A buttery yeasted dough made with cardamom, orange and almond. Studded with raisins and citrus zest, stuffed with marzipan and generously dusted with icing sugar.
· Walnut Nougat Cozonac – A Romanian holiday tradition. This is a rich egg based dough, rolled up with a sweet lemony walnut filling. Eat it with your coffee while you open up presents on Christmas morning!
· Chocolate Babka – A brioche style dough, rolled up with a decandent chocolate filling. This sweet bread is sometimes confused for cake.
· Rum Balls – Dense chocolatey brownies which are broken up and mixed with a healthy dose of spiced rum, then rolled into sanding sugar.
We’ll also have our regular loaves available for purchase at the Christmas market – all of our sourdoughs, yeasted breads, and pretzels!
